The Jungle Run Half Marathon consists of a 13.1-mile run/walk that starts and finishes in Los Gatos at the Los Gatos High School Track. The course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos and onto the scenic Los Gatos Creek Trail at the Los Gatos Creek County Park in Campbell.

The Jungle Run 10K Run/Walk consists of a 6.2 mile run/walk that starts and finishes in Los Gatos at the Los Gatos High School Track. The course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos to the entrance of Vasona Park.

Race Bibs
Packet Pick-up
The Los Gatos Half Marathon and 10K will be using timing chips this year and will not be mailing out any of the pre-race materials (bibs, chips, etc). We will be offering packet pick-up in Los Gatos prior to the race for you to pick up all of your pre-race materials so as to make race day worry-free.
If you aren't able to make one of the pre-race registrations, rest-assured but come early.

SUBSTITUTIONS
Under no circumstances may you sell, trade or allow someone else to take your entry. Such substitutions jeopardize our insurance and our ability to secure the permits necessary to produce future events.
ROLLOVER CREDITS
If you cannot participate in an event for which you have registered, you may be eligible to receive a partial Rollover Credit, which may be applied towards any future Firstwave Events race. Rollover Credits may be applied toward any Firstwave Events race(s) at any time - there's no expiration on your credit. To retain a Rollover Credit, you must notify us of your intention to pull out of a race NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE.
If within the 30 days leading up to the event a medical reason, military deployment or death in the family will prevent your participation, you must notify us in writing and attach documentation (i.e. doctor's note, deployment notice) to support your claim. We must be in receipt of your written notice at least 72 hours before the published race start time. All requests for Rollover Credits for any reason besides medical, military deployment or death within 30 days of race day will be denied.
No credits will be issued within the last 72 hours prior to race start. A Rollover Fee will apply for all Rollover Credits (See chart below).

Course Description
The Jungle Run Half Marathon consists of a 13.1-mile run/walk that starts and finishes in Los Gatos at the Los Gatos High School Track. The course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos and onto the scenic Los Gatos Creek Trail at the Los Gatos Creek County Park in Campbell. Athletes will enjoy creek-side views on their way back into Los Gatos and into breathtaking Vasona Park. After a small loop around Vasona Lake, athletes will continue South on the Los Gatos Creek Trail into Old Town Los Gatos. From there, it's a short out and back on the unpaved portion of the trail. The turn around takes place before the Dam (and the hills!). Runners then retrace their steps back to the finish line festivities on the Los Gatos High School track.

- Right turn onto Caldwell
- Left turn onto Los Gatos Blvd.
- Left turn onto Nino Av.

- Continue on path approx. 3/4 miles to turn around
- Back to Forbes Mill and into High School
- Finish on the track
The course will be managed at a 15 minute per mile pace.

- Station 1 on Winchester (Water)
- Station 2 in County Park (Water, Gulp & Go Gell)
- Station 3 in Vasona (Water, Cytomax Electrolyte)
- Station 4 on Creek Trail (Water, Cytomax Electrolyte)
- Station 5 on Creek Trail (Water, Cytomax Electrolyte)
- Finish Line on Los Gatos High Track (Water & foods)

The Jungle Run 10K Run/Walk consists of a 6.2 mile run/walk that starts and finishes in Los Gatos at the Los Gatos High School Track. The course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos to the entrance of Vasona Park. Athletes will travel past the Vasona Lake shores and continue on the Creek trail back to Old Town Los Gatos. A left turn at Forbes Mill takes runners into Los Gatos High School for the finish on the track.

Directions
The Jungle Run Half Marathon & 10K start/finish lines and race day registration take place near the Los Gatos High School Track at the back of Los Gatos High School.
Driving/Parking Directions to Los Gatos High School
Limited parking will be available in the Los Gatos High School lots.

There will be plenty of downtown parking that is a short walk to the start/finish lines.
