Course Description
The Jungle Run 10K Run/Walk consists of a 6.2 mile run/walk that starts and finishes in Los Gatos at the Los Gatos High School Track. The course extends North through the streets of Los Gatos to the entrance of Vasona Park. Athletes will travel past the Vasona Lake shores and continue on the Creek trail back to Old Town Los Gatos. A left turn at Forbes Mill takes runners into Los Gatos High School for the finish on the track.
Due to heavy beach traffic in town the 2016 Course will be different then the Turn-By-Turn Listed Below. We will return to the old course in 2017.
Turn-By-Turn
- Start on New York Ave. adjacent to the track
- Up New York to Bella Vista
- Right turn onto Caldwell
- Left turn onto Los Gatos Blvd.
- Left turn onto Nino Ave.
- Right turn onto Fisher Ave.
- Left turn onto Roberts Rd.
- Left turn onto Blossom Hill Rd.
- Right turn into Vasona Park entrance
- Continue on Garden Hill Drive past Park Headquarters
- Left turn onto Creek Trail at Vasona Dam
- Through Vasona Park
- Continue on path to Old Town Los Gatos
- Left turn past Forbes Mill
- Into High School
- Finish on the track
The course will be managed at a 15 minute per mile pace.
Aid Stations
There will be one course aid station:
Station 1 in Vasona (Water, Electrolyte)

Top three male and female finishers overall as well as the following seven age divisions will receive awards:

- 50 Somethings
- 60 Somethings
- 70 Plus
